For most people silence is a choice, but for me it's a way of life. It's who I am. It's something I can't change. Silence is what defines me, and silence is what makes me different. It's what separates me from the rest of the world. Isolation was the result of my silence, and it was what broke me, tore me down, and left me broken on the side of the road. For the most part. There were other reasons of course. Reasons that I kept hidden deep inside never letting them see the light of day. A different type of silence that dragged me to the brink of destruction. But despite the silence and isolation that molded my life there was someone that, despite all odds, changed it all. He broke the rules of my life and made me into something different.
