After a long time fighting with Sonic, Eggman finally achieve his victory! A whole Universe is in his power, every mobian is suffering. Sonic is their only hope, but he can't do this alone! Sonic will need a help from his rival, Shadow.

Days, weeks, months. Sonic and Shadow have fight with eggman to gain victory, for freedom of the mobians. But their struggles leads to nothing, except.. changing their rivalry to a more pleasant and powerful connection.
