Mirabel Madrigal is the only Madrigal to not have a gift right? Wrong! She doesn't have a gift she has a quirk. Her quirk is being able to use everyone in her family's gifts along with seeing the dead and super speed. When she's had enough of the mental abuse from her Abuela and older sister Isabela and somewhat physical abuse she received from her Abuela she runs away to Japan. With her knack of making tech and wanting to help people she goes to one the best hero schools in Japan. UA High! As she strives to be a hero something happens in Colombia making the Madrigal family need help from the runaway Madrigal aka the Colombian hero: Golden Butterfly. Can she make amends with her family or will she leave things unresolved and head back to Japan?
