Forever Haunted (revised)

Jamie has been a rebellious yet quiet teen ever since her dad died. She has learned to manage on her own and rely on no one. Her mom is a workholic, who barely pays attention to Jamie. They move to a new town where Jamie is hoping to stay in the shadows and be known as "that girl who sits in the back seat" as usual. Things don't go as planned when she meets a bubbly, friendly girl who wants to be her friend, a popular guy who likes her, a mean girl who wants to get rid of her, and the guy who changes her for good. What Jamie doesn't know is the guy has a secret.
