"Howdy everyone, I'm Lucas Friar. From Austin, Texas."

Oh god he's hot. He will never love me, well. I might as well try.

"Lucas hello." Riley grinned.

Great. Riley liked him too. Luckily no one heard what she said but me. This boy better not ruin our friendship.

"Thank you Lucas. There's an open seat behind Maya. Maya, wave." Mr. Matthews said.

I waved to Lucas and grinned. He smiled back, and sat down behind me.

I turned around. I decided we should have a special relationship.

"Howdy cowboy. Where's all of your cattle? Didn't you bring them along?"

"Well well. Maya. Howdy to you too." He said, dipping an imaginary hat.

I turned around grinning. Our adventure had just begun.
