Not long after Gan's death an ill fated mission goes badly wrong and another of the crew is killed. Or is he? Captured by the Federation and thought dead by his comrades aboard the Liberator, can Avon survive his interrogation and find a way to get back? and what will Blake and his crew do now they have lost another, or when they learn that Avon is not dead after all?
