In this AU, Schlatt is a good dad to Tubbo. Even if Tubbo's mom isn't around anymore, Schlatt isn't on his own. His best friend Wilbur comes over to help, often bringing his own kid Fundy or his younger brother Tommy with him. Tubbo and Tommy are best friends, so Wilbur ends up going over to Schlatt's house often. The company was a welcome change from the time that the two were away at college. They have had feelings for each other for a long time, but always kept those feelings on the down-low.
