Why is everyone fearing Me?

An outcast getting in a cab getting dropped off at a club suddenly becomes centre of attention and even she didn't know how or why.

Maria is just an outcast who went clubbing alone with nobody else yet everyone feared her. She didn't have any bad blood in her, everyone said she was as innocent as a rose with no thorns.

She is met with a person from the shadows that everyone knew but not the face until Maria brought the guy out with a new name.
