In another world, people get stuck with another person for the rest of their lives; their other half.

Many spend their lives searching. Some find them. Some don't. Some have an unfortunate case of 'right person, wrong time.' Those who suffer from the last usually never meet their soulmate.

For our protagonists, however?

They get a second chance at life, and with that, another chance to find their soulmate.
