After living for decades past a century, former knight and surviving vampire, Cedric Gregory, wants nothing more than to live his eternity in peace as he rekindles his passion for practicing medicine.

Unfortunately, his peace doesn't last long. Cedric's former identity gets revealed, enemies are formed and he has to escape the clutches of those who hunt him along with a fledgling vampire girl he is determined to raise.

But that isn't the only problem. A huge storm is brewing, and it doesn't take long for Cedric to gets entangled in a matter that could determine the existence of humanity.
