Prologue

Miss Kamiya Corbyn has to process and overcome her abuse, despite what her family might think she needs to do what is best for herself. The family has been living a lie, burying everything negative to present as a picture perfect family. She cannot take the lies anymore, she wants to bring everything to light, even knowing she is risking losing the relationship with her family.
Along her journey she meets a man named Galen who changes her life for the better and helps her along on her path. Together they have found that even though you forgive someone it doesn't mean that you have to forget.
