Prologue

They are the elite. The ones created to raise a new, more powerful race of humans after the apocalypse destroys the earth. There were ten of them. Now, after escaping the lab they were created and raised in, there are five left. Five of the fastest, strongest part-humans to walk the earth. But their story isn't over yet. Not until they stop their creators from annihilating life as we know it. And in order for the scientists to complete the plan, they'll need one vital puzzle piece, a piece they'll stop at nothing to capture-- them. There's just one small hitch. Tori, the leader of their merry little band of mutants, isn't going to let that happen.
