Chapter One: The Vanishing Man

Darkness grows in the corners of the Living City, a sprawling metropolis where creatures from myth and fantasy coexist in relative peace mere cosmic inches from the mortals of Earth. Adam Peaks is one of those mortals, or at least that is what he had assumed before a group of strange people shoved their way into his life and showed him a world beyond his own. Now that world is faced with a danger unlike any it has seen before, and the mortal world will be next to fall.
