"What are you doing here?" He finally asked. For a split second, I considered playing dumb but quickly thought better of it. Donovan? Dumb? Ha! Not a good combo. So instead, I decided to tell the truth without telling the truth. "School." From the reflection, I could see a spark of irritation flash through his eyes. "What are you doing here?" He asked again, putting the emphasis on 'here'. Ah. Now this question would be harder to avoid. I'd already used "school" and I don't think "It's my car." would go over too well. I held back a sigh.
