Samantha "Sam" Monroe was transferred from Station 126 in Austin, Texas to the LAFD station 118 around the time Evan "Buck" Buckley was assigned there. As time went by, they became best friends; the two of them attached at the hip during calls as they save lives. But over time, the experiences they go through at the 118 makes them realize the feelings they have for each other and the lack of courage they have to tell each other.
