Prologue

"Silver." My smile falling from my face I repeat my name again.

"My name is Silver. When speaking to me, you will address me as Silver.  At the beginning of this school year, just like any other year, teachers ask the students the name they go by and every year I say the same name. Silver. Nothing else. Got it?"  I swear I felt my eye twitch at the end
