Prologue

People who have not read the Vampire Academy series may read this book as it includes a summary of what you need to know. This starts after Shadow Kiss. Dimitri leaves but not for Tasha. Rose goes through the biggest challenge of her life, not just heartbreak, something worse than even Dimitri leaving. It makes her question where her loyalties lie and people are too quick to judge Rose. This is not her last challenge though. Will she learn to live with her grief or will it consume her?
