Maya Regan, a newcomer joining the BAU after former agent Emily Prentiss has recently died and Maya was hired to take her place. Maya was head strong and kept to herself mostly because she didn't like others knowing her story because once they knew it meant they could use it against her and she wasn't going through that... again. But once she joined the BAU and created new friendships slower than others, she started learning a new way of life and how to open up. Especially after meeting a very confident and slightly obnoxious Derek Morgan but what will happen when Maya's past starts to come back to the present? What happens when Maya is forced to open up about her life all those years ago?
