Prologue

Amanda Unaki is just another ordinary teenager.
She has an ordinary life, an ordinary home, and a dent in her backyard where a space craft used to be.
A not-so-ordinary boy named Lan is what shakes the foundation of Amanda's concept of friendship.
When they meet, they are unaware of the bond that they will share and the pain they will endure.
