First Book in the Strange Tales of Dimension Ω series. Aliens. Do they exist? A widely debated topic. But in this alternate version of earth, that debate was put to (public) rest long ago. Way back in 1975. But, it was put to private rest way further back than that. 1956 to be exact. That was the year the first alien spaceship landed in Nevada, resulting in Area 51's (and by extension the entire earth's) first contact with extraterrestrials. Only problem, everything in there was dead. Or so we thought. Fast forward to 1975. So, it turns out that the ship was actually a prison ship! And all the aliens inside were actually In stasis! Well, except for the guards. They're all dead. And thanks to the bumbling of our American government, each and every alien has now escaped. America the beautiful everyone. But, Luckily for us, The guards wore a special armor, powered by a scarab. A scarab that is now in the Dorky mitts of one Ronald "Ronnie" Ray Charles Jr., a Dorky 19-Year-Old from Willington, Georgia who just might be the biggest jive turkey in all of the Willington Slums. And now, he's been charged with the monumental task of rounding all of these prisoners up while dealing with school and his home life at the same time.
