He is soon commissioned for a trip to space with his brother-in-law scientist Reed Richards and a team including his sister Sue Storm and friend Ben Grimm, all spearheaded by Victor Von Doom. When something goes horrible wrong on the mission Johnny, Reed and Sue all come back with some amazing powers, giving Johnny the big head and wanting to be reckless. In his newfound celebrity Johnny loses the one person who was always there for him Danica.
