Prelude to Act 1

"Ever since I was little, I was able to see the monsters." Mika, a sixteen-year-old high school student, has a unique ability: she can tell when people will die. Being born with a single Shinigami eye, she is able to see people's lifespans, as well as the occasional Shinigami . . . or Ikagami, also known as Gods of Life. With help from a God of Life, she manages to find Light Yagami, who takes a great interest in her abilities, intending to use her for his personal gain. But who truly is the one in control?
