Alone

After being left on the doorsteps of an orphanage at age four, Thalia Davis spends most of her life there. The few foster homes she had, never lasted more than a few months at best. Now an adult and trying to leave the past behind, Thalia's world is turned around by someone she would usually never think twice about.

Mackenzie Jace is a kind and giving soul. Still reeling from a heartbreak that feels too fresh, she moves to a new town after being transfered to its fire department. She spends her time fighting fires or taking out her frustrations at the gym. In comes a woman who can either heal or destroy what's left of her.
