DIANA GILMORE, named after the infamous Princess Diana, is Rory's fraternal twin, in both looks and personality. As Rory aspires to travel the world and record the adventures she encounters, Diana wants nothing more than to live out her days in Stars Hollow as a published author. When Lorelai runs out of options for Rory's enrollment fee, she goes to her parents. Richard and Emily Gilmore provide the funds with the friday night dinners.
