Near the end of the Age of Wonder, vile experiments were conducted to forcefully adapt the human genome to the harsh environment of post-climate disaster.

While the plan worked, there were major side effects to the process; new generations began taking on bestial shapes and forms. In the end, the human appearance became extinct, overridden by their legacy.

Life is different in the wastes. Survival has evolved, culture has renewed and stories are aplenty.
