The popular kids weren't ever, under any circumstances to date anyone lower in the high school social structure. Sam Zodiac didn't know that when he first enrolled at Little Pond High. His first day, hotshot Barry McKern, captain of the school's soccer team and one of the most popular kids in the whole school catches his eye. Sam finds himself falling in love with a popular boy who he may never have and gets trapped in what seems like an endless circle of revenge, competition, and heated battle over a forbidden love.
