"...What was my purpose? " I whispered, wishing and begging that he wouldn't say what I expected him to say. " A weapon, a machine.." he paused. " A murderer." Delaney was always locked away. Training and learning about things that even the most capable of people wouldn't be able to comprehend. It always intrigued her why the people she was supposed to bow down to, people who couldn't even do half of what she could; was always forcing her to do stuff that she thought was normal. Growing up seeing and doing things for her "family" was normal. Murder, theft, torture and abuse was normal. Any other illegal shit you could think of, she'd probably done worst. How would our poor Delaney react when one day their safe haven was raided? Her home searched, her "family" taken away and her locked up. What would she do when she finds out that everything she was used to doing is inhumane and wrong? How could she deal with the fact that despite being an abnormal all knowing artifact, she didn't know what it was like to feel. What could possibly happen when she meets these group of people, that she can actually call family? Will she be able to go back to her old life? or will she leave that in her past and move on with her new one.
