Part 1: Sold-Out Show

What if David from The Lost Boys was the lead singer in a band? What if he met Michael as an adult and the two became romantically involved? That's the seed that inspired this story.

Entertainment writer Jared Winter and his best friend, and paranormal enthusiast, Lenore Grenway, attend a concert in Los Angeles, where they first encounter Velveteen Slumber and its charismatic front-man, Dorian Volker (and his girlfriend, Haven). Jared feels an immediate and intense attraction to Dorian, whom he later learns is both bisexual and polyamorous. The two men become involved.

Wanting to further explore their connection, Volker invites Jared and Lenore to continue the tour with the band. Lenore begins interviewing the band members and Haven about their experiences with the supernatural and discovers a string of disappearances trailing the tour. Could there be a darker side to Volker as yet unseen?
