He held a neutral expression as he searched my eyes for the truth in my words. I was dead serious about my threats. It would be unfortunate for those beautiful eyes, but I'd do it. I expected him to back off, how most guys did when I spilled venom. He didn't. His reaction wasn't even close. He grinned so big, I was nearly blinded by the white set of teeth. His pupils blown wide, drank in the mystic blue. "Yeah," he whispered. "I got it, boss lady."
