Description
On the eve of her seventeenth birthday, Melior of Milana finds herself embroiled in a scheme to trap her into marriage with a neighboring king. After years of being threatened with warfare and marriage, Melior decides she must plot to prevent being overthrown by her own court. She is forced to work with the dangerously attractive General Tristan, who is too beautiful to be trustworthy, but her only chance at emerging victorious.
