Chapter One

Lily is the only one that dies during Voldemort's rampage through the Potter house. Harry is completely unscathed, save for a scar on his forehead, and James is on the brink of death. When he heals a bit, both he and Severus unexpectedly bond over the loss of someone so dear to them.
