Description
Simone is a typical 14 year old girl. She goes to school, has a decent amount of friends, just typical, boring things. Though, she soon moves from her hometown of Albany, NY to Oklahoma City, OK when her parents die in an awful car accident, and she has to go and live with her aunt and uncle. Simone isn't used to the barn life, taking care of chickens, pigs, horses, and more "filthy" animals that roam around the rural part of town. Soon, Simone is introduced to a new horse her aunt had found out in the wild named Starlight. A beautiful albino horse with lots of love to offer. It's up to Simone to train Starlight to be the best race horse there is within a month and win the Oklahoma Summer Race, or else Starlight will be sold away to their neighbors, the Oaksons. Will Simone win the race and prove that Starlight isn't the worthless horse her neighbors claim to be? Or will she lose, both the race and Starlight?
