so I'm going to give the world of TLKOE a little dash of me-ness and just change a couple things up.
1: the kids are going to be a little older, like about 15 to 16
2: Jack's gonna, have a little more traumatic events because I'm evil
3: guns.

this takes place years after when the apocalypse originally starts, so jack had already moved to another foster home. he returns to wakefield from alaska where he hopes to just stock up before moving down to New York, but then he remembers. he had friends here.
