Princess Valerie thinks she has time before she has to take on the royal burden of being Queen, that is, until a war breaks out between her kingdom, Fortis, and the neighboring kingdom Darius. But instead of locking herself away, her and her companion, badass Princess Kimi of Darius go on a quest to find the missing enchanted moonstone, the cause of the great battle. But as they travel, Valerie realizes she may not be able to make it through the journey without revealing her darkest secret, a secret even more scandalous than her nearly obvious crush on her traveling companion.
