Alana is the daughter of one of the blue wizards, Alatar, and Galadeth, Galadriel and Celeborn's second daughter. After running from Lothlorien in her 'rebellious stage', she apprentices under Gandalf and eventually joins the quest for the Lonely Mountain and the Fellowship.
