"What are you doing here?" Napaangat ako ng tingin ng marinig ang baritono at malamig niyang boses. May parti sa puso ko na masayang nakita ko siya ngayon at takot sa kadahilanang nakikita ko na naman ang walang emosyon niyang mga mata. Pinamumukha kasi nitong hindi siya masaya sa'kin. "H-Hinintay kitang makauwi." Nakayuko at natatakot kong sagot. Nagulat ako ng hawakan ako nito ng mahigpit sa panga. "Don't show me that looks of yours acting a scared cat hiding the evil inside." Saad niya habang nakangisi. Binalibag niya ako at napasalampak sa sahig. He look at me with disgust in his eyes. "Don't wait for me I only came home because of my mother. I don't want to see you. Just seeing your face make me sick." He said coldly and left. Napaiyak na lamang ako tinulungan ang sariling tumayo. He's my husband for a year now and it's our first anniversary. I thought he came home because of that, pero ano nga ba ang aasahan ko sa kaniya? Sa mata niya isa lamang akong clown. A desperate clown who crave for his love but never he look at me with that kind of emotion nor treat me like that. For him I am the woman who ruined his life. 'You love him, he will remember that once upon a time he loves you. Wait a little longer hold on to his promise.' I whisper to myself before I went upstairs.
