Life is not a bitch to everyone. In Marina's view, people make their lives miserable with their own choices, but she can't deny the domino effect a decision can have on a large group of people. She always wanted to navigate life on her own terms, but realizes she isn't emotionally stable enough to be as independent as she wanted. She finds herself in a position of having to make choices that affect other people than herself. It all started when she wanted to work for the Odelescu family in Mountainside mansion.
