Out For a Drink

When Espresso comes into Sparkling's bar way past closing time, he can't help but be a little worried for the mage.

He was glad to see Espresso happier now, though he still wondered what had happened in the first place. "Espresso, are you okay..?" He didn't realize he spoke his thoughts out loud until it was too late. Espresso looked surprised, not having an immediate answer, as if trying to find the right words to say. That alone gave Sparkling his answer. Something was wrong.
