Part 1 : The Harvest Moon Ritual

"Dear Moon goddess, hear my prayer, please make my mate cool,"

At birth every shifter in your pack is given a unique necklace that ties them to the Moon goddess and pack.

At eighteen, on the night of the Harvest Moon, the shifters of your pack must participate in the Howling Wolf Rock Ritual. In this ritual, the Moon goddess gifts the young shifters an animal form and the ability to find their mate. The pack pendants change into your animal form and will glow when your mate is near.

What happens when you jump off the rock, find your animal form but not your mate?
