Areth has always been different. As daughter of Kili and Tauriel, she has had to learn the hard way that being half elf/dwarf is not a desirable thing in the eyes of many. But when something happens, and her differences are highlighted more than before, she must learn to rise to the occasion and show everyone that different is a good thing.
