The beginning of the end

The world we once knew has ended.

The streets were now invaded by people who were once alive. Those people had families and friends once. They used to crave love, affection, and happiness. But now, all they crave is flesh and blood.

Nobody was prepared or even aware of what was happening for that matter when all hell broke loose. Everyone was taken completely off guard and in just three days, the human population was split in half and was rapidly declining even more by the day.

I would have said wiped out, but the dead just came back after a couple hours. Of course, if you get bit then you turn. But It didn't matter how anyone died, we all were infected with whatever this virus was and we came back as a biter.
