It is 1985 during the civil war in an unknown country in West Africa and Ebi, a 13 years old boy, narrates tales of; friendship, family, neighbours and how the civil war occurred. Ebi will tell more tales about his new neighbour, Oga Soja. A new Soldier who was among those the government recruited to fight and protect the people who are living in the safer province.
