Katara hated it there, the heat, the red, the gold, especially the gold, it reminded her of the princes eyes, a man she hated and was forced to marry. But she missed it all now. She missed the beautiful nation that was now in flames, crumbling and destroyed by the family that rules it.

With the avatar and allies, it's up to them to bring the fire lord to an end, to bring peace to the world. To stop the war and the devastation that all lives prayed to end.

For Katara to step back onto fire nation soil as the leader she promised to be with her prince.
