Description
After the motion light at the back of her house keeps turning on and off, Mika Gabrouski goes outside to investigate, only to get kidnapped by a creepy stranger. She ends up as a potluck dish at the dinner party hosted by Lucien Rouvroy, but instead of serving as the expected dessert, she is accidentally turned by the noble vampire himself. Now stuck among the Undead, Mika needs to figure out a new purpose in after-life, and being her an unquestioning lackey is definitely not it. Even at hundred years plus, her vampire clan has much to learn and what better teacher than this spunky newbie. Then there's Zaahira, the seriously pissed off vampire matriarch of another coven who doesn't appreciate that Mika is threatening to expose them to the humans.
