Prologue

Thalassa, a Nereid, lives in a village of elves and when her mother goes missing, she must go into a dark and feared abyss to track down the kako pnevma, or the demons. But when Thalassa discovers a thing in the pit, things start to go a bit wrong. (This story is continued in the next book, A Starship Dream)
