Equal parts Afrofuturist epic and nostalgic 1990s throwback on a fictional Caribbean continent where the black experience thrives unfettered by time/space/or genre. A weekly (fat chance) novelization of an unproduced screenplay-We are through the looking-glass here, people... 10 minutes. How long it takes the average reader to sift through 2000 words. The maximum amount of time I feel comfortable demanding per chapter. Fragmentary, vague, eclectic, filled with questionable comma splices-the goal is "bingeable reads" in the vein of folklore, I suppose. Only, the "folk" in question is me (singular) and the "lore" ain't all that important. This is a collage of story ideas signifying the greater whole I don't have the discipline or talent to unify and realize in their deserved form.
