At the ripe age of 16 Laken Raines had finally come the conclusion she had everything in her life together, which unfortunately crashed and burned 30 minutes before blowing out the candles on her 17th birthday. "We're moving to North Carolina," was a lot different than the, "check the driveway" surprise she'd expected.

However, navigating the drive there was a lot easier than navigating her way through a boarding school, douchebags, and way too much crying; did I mention crying?
