Chapter 1: Back out of stasis...

Adrian Shephard, an HECU Marine who has been in cryogenic stasis for an unknown period of time after the Black Mesa Incident, is abruptly awakened by the mysterious G-Man, who informs him that he has been brought out of stasis for a special mission. Shephard soon finds himself in a cyberpunk world, where technology has advanced significantly, and the world is ruled by powerful corporations. He must navigate this new world and uncover the truth behind why he has been brought out of stasis and what G-Man's true motives are. Along the way, he encounters a diverse cast of cyborgs, hackers, and rogue AI. As he delves deeper into the mission, he discovers that the fate of humanity may be at stake and he is the only one who can save it.
