Not the beginning

the parents of a large family die and it ends up the only 9-year-old son has to take care of all his siblings while using the inheritance to make life easier for the now orphaned family. time skip 10 years into the future, everything is crumbling down. Will the family be strong enough to survive through the struggles that reality throws at them, or will they separate and despise each other for what has happened.
