Description
Hunter Noceda has always firmly believed that the best way to go about life is to be yourself. But when you're a queer kid with a single mom and a love for the macabre---not to mention, one who looks like they've stepped out of a fantasy novel---being yourself tends to cause more trouble than good. And when the visits to the principal's office become one too many and his mom decides to send him to summer camp, Hunter is pretty sure his life is over... Until he stumbles into the demon realm, better known as the Boiling Isles. There, things only start to improve. He gets taken in by an outlaw known as the Owl Lady, who teaches him how to be a witch. He makes several new friends---plus a couple enemies, one of which is infuriatingly cute. And he's getting closer and closer to finding out if he has ties to this realm... but there are dark secrets lurking beneath the bones. And one tiny misstep could cost Hunter his life.
